Kids love camp and recreation!
Our camp and recreation programs provide safe and accessible spaces where children with disabilities are valued, respected and accepted. We provide the best environment to try new things and make new friends in an inclusive and fun environment. Programs range from sports and fitness activities to after school play and social activities – all created to elevate community. Kids with and without disabilities can experience the joys of camp while developing independence, confidence and a sense of self.
Camp Easterseals Virginia
Campers of all ages and abilities explore the great outdoors, make lifelong friends and discover just how much they’re capable of achieving. From canoeing on peaceful waters to soaring on a zipline, rock climbing, splashing in the pool or sharing stories around a glowing campfire, every day is an adventure. Our supportive community of trained staff and new friends ensures campers feel encouraged, included and celebrated.

EMPOWER Summer Camp
Inclusive, fun and safe 8-week camp for children with developmental disabilities and their siblings. EMPOWER Summer Camp is a partnership with Trillium Health Resources to address long-standing gaps in social and recreational activities in North Carolina.
