At Easterseals PORT Health, we’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Placement Therapist to join our Child Placement team in the Raleigh area. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.
What You’ll Do
The Child Placement Therapist provides direct therapeutic interventions as part of a multi-disciplinary team intended to stabilize the living arrangement and promote reunification for identified youth through the age of 20. These services are provided in multiple locations, including therapeutic foster homes, home and community of the person served.
This position is a Monday-Friday work schedule with some evening flexibility for program and client needs. There is a 1 week on-call rotation monthly.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team, you must be willing to provide weekly individual and family therapy, including the reunification family and treatment foster family, in a community-based or home-based setting. You will also be providing crisis intervention services. Monitor parent skills training to encourage family skill base around crisis response and interdependence with community resources. We also require:
- Master’s degree in a human service field from a college or university accredited by an entity approved by USDOE or CHEA.
- Must hold an active, unrestricted license or provisional license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCAS
- Valid unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license and ability to be insured by Easter Seals UCP’s insurance carrier
- Have documented experience with the population to be served
