What You’ll Do
As a Clinical Assessor, you will complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments and assessments for JJSAMHP referrals from the Department of Juvenile Justice in an effort to identify behavioral or psychological symptoms or patterns essential to making treatment recommendations for individuals seeking treatment. The Clinical Assessor will also carry a small caseload and provide behavioral health counseling to adults, children, adolescents, or families.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team, you must provide assessments and clinical diagnostic services for persons seeking clinical treatment, including assessment of strength and supports. You will also provide 1:1, group, and/or family counseling as stipulated by specific referral to individuals and families with emotional and/or behavioral concerns. We also require the following:
- Have master’s degree in a related field
- Be fully or provisionally license in appropriate discipline required – either LCSW; LPC; LMFT; LCAS; LCSW-A; LPC-A; LMFT-A.
- Must have at least one year’s fulltime, documented experience with the population served.
- Demonstrate high moral and ethical character, and be free of any substantiated charges of abuse or neglect on the NC Healthcare Registry
- Maintain valid insurance for personal vehicles utilized for work
