Clinician Therapist

At Easterseals PORT Health, we’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Clinician to join our Outpatient Therapy Team in Durham. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.

What You’ll Do

As a Clinician at Durham Youth Home, you will complete assessments of court involved youth in a timely manner and matches them with appropriate services; including Brief Challenges when appropriate.  As the clinician you must be highly self-motivated, ethical in practice, strong diagnostic knowledge, knowledge of local resources, and trauma informed therapeutic practices.

You’ll earn a competitive salary ($55,000 – $57,000) based on your licensure and years of experience, plus enjoy a Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm work schedule with some flexibility for program and client needs.  What We’re Looking For

To join our team as a Clinician, you must have in-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application in an outpatient setting, be able to work independently, be adept at problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis. We also require:

  • Full or provisional licensure: LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT
  • Dual licensure preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with adolescent substance use treatment is required, preferably with youth involved in DJJ
