Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), is a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Early Intervention Service Coordinator with knowledge of birth-5 child development to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary, Early Intervention team in the Roanoke, Virginia area.
We are hiring for the following schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
What You’ll Do
As an Early Intervention Service Coordinator, you will provide case management services to children from birth to age three with developmental delays and disabilities. This role assists families in identifying developmental goals while providing support and resources to reach those goals. This is a hybrid position that includes travel to our family’s homes/community settings in the Roanoke, Virginia area as well as our office. Candidates must be willing to commute in Roanoke area to see families.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team as an Early Intervention Service Coordinator you must have a passion to help others, excellent communication skills, case management experience, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and a valid driver’s license with current auto insurance and a good driving record.
We also require the following:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in one of the following:
- Allied Health, Early Childhood, Child and Family Studies, Special Education, Psychology, Music Therapy, Social Work, Human Services or related field
- Knowledge of child development and recommended practices in service provision for children with or at risk for developmental or behavioral/emotional disabilities.
- Experience working with young children (birth-5). Experience working with children in their natural environments (home, daycare) is preferred.
AND/OR
Virginia teaching licensure (PreK-3, NK-4, PreK-6) with one of the following endorsements:
- Special Education birth-5, or MT-BC Preferred
