As a valued member of our collaborative Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, you will work to transform the lives of our clients by providing a comprehensive range of services in the community that treat the whole person and empower them to find their way forward.
What You’ll Do
As an Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor on the Easterseals’ ACT team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals living with severe and persistent mental health and substance use challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing person-centered plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
- Providing structured psychosocial interventions to individuals and groups using a stage-wise approach to treatment.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, community-based care.
How You’ll Benefit

You’ll earn a competitive annual salary $40,000 – $63,000 based on your education, experience, and liscensure, plus enjoy a 40-hour a week, Monday-Friday work schedule, with daily travel in the community. What We’re Looking For
We are seeking passionate professionals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. To join our team, you should be willing to provide services in various community locations and participate in the crisis phone rotation.
We’re also looking for:
- Licensed or certified in the following: CADC, LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS, or CSAC
- Able to be credentialed as a Mental Health Qualified Professional or Associate Professional
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with the adult mental health population-internships included; ACT team experience preferred
- A valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a good driving record
