Qualified Professional in Substance Use

At Easterseals PORT Health, we’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) Qualified Professional to join our team at the Outpatient Clinic in Greenville, NC. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.

What You’ll Do 

As a CADC Qualified Professional on our team, you will contribute significantly to the well-being of the individuals under your care by coordinating their individualized needs in conjunction with their full care team. As part of this team the CADC’s complete screenings and intakes for new patients, evaluations and assessments, develop treatment plans to work toward positive outcomes, coordinate follow-up care and provide referrals to other services as needed. The CADC QP also leads group sessions throughout the week.   

How You’ll Benefit

You’ll earn a competitive salary ($18 – 22 / hour) based on your experience and current certification plus enjoy a Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm work schedule of 40 hours per week with some evening flexibility for program and client needs. We also offer competitive benefits for benefits-eligible positions.

What We’re Looking For

To join our team as the CADC Qualified Professional you must have in-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application, possess top-tier communication and documentation skills, be adept at problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis. We also require: 

  • Full or provisional Substance Use licensure or certification: LCAS, CCS, CADC
  • Experience in SAIOP & SACOT group therapy facilitation preferred
  • Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
  • Must be able to work independently, have strong verbal and written communication skills
