What You’ll Do:
- Deliver essential nursing care, including psychotropic medication administration and monitoring as prescribed by the team psychiatrist.
- Conduct nursing assessments, provide interventions, and monitor individuals for medical issues and potential medication side effects.
- Collaborate closely with the team psychiatrist to create, update, and manage medication protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Assess and document medication effectiveness, potential complications, and any side effects.
- Develop personalized strategies to promote medication adherence and support overall health, in partnership with the individual.
- Collaborate with the team in developing individualized care plans and participate in daily team meetings.
- Provide on-call crisis intervention services as part of a rotating schedule.
- Document interactions and care in Welligent EMR.
Qualifications:
- An active, unrestricted LPN nursing license to practice in NC
- Prior mental health experience – preferred
- Comfortable working in community settings with a valid driver’s license.
