Talent Acquisition Specialist/Community Engagement Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist/Community Engagement Specialist functions primarily to provide Human Resources support and Community Engagement Support in the area of recruitment and hiring for the organization. This position will work closely with program leaders to assist with sourcing candidates and hiring to ensure recruiting processes are running effectively and efficiently. The incumbent will attend community engagement opportunities, to include job fairs and local community and networking events, as appropriate to gain exposure for the organization and open positions specifically targeted for the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT). This is a minimum of a 6-month contract position of 32-40 hours per week that has the potential to be extended.

 Essential Job Functions:

·        Develops and posts job openings to electronic recruitment site and other sites as appropriate.

·        Sources candidates through development of partnerships with accredited technical schools, colleges, and universities, professional organizations, online resources and other tools.

·        Attends job fairs and other hiring events as appropriate to gain exposure for the organization and open positions.

·        Attends community engagement opportunities, to include job fairs and local community and networking events, as appropriate to gain exposure for the organization and open positions

·        Receives/reviews resumes and applications for minimum qualifications.

·        Schedules and conducts phone screens for qualified applicants.

·        Sends qualified applicants to hiring manager for review.

·        Schedules interviews for hiring manager and other interviewees as needed.

·        Phone Screens and interviews applicant as needed to ensure right fit.

·        Assists with training on recruitment process and interviewing and hiring when requested by regional and HR leadership.

·        Follows all ESPH procedures as appropriate to position.

 Minimum Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited university or college.

·        Four years’ experience in staff recruitment, preferably for a non-profit, human service or healthcare field preferred.

·        Possession of state-appropriate, unrestricted driver’s license and current and valid auto insurance.

 Working Environment and Physical Demands

  • Must possess the necessary abilities to perform tasks such as develop written communication as well as reviewing work to determine accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients, and being able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
