He was a star WRAL News Anchor icon to many, but to the kids at Charlie Gaddy Children’s Center & Easterseals UCP, Charlie was a true champion. For 30+ years, Charlie hosted the WRAL-TV’s UCP telethon – raising more than $8M to support children & adults with disabilities. Charlie leaves a powerful echo in the universe – an echo of loving kindness & enduring joy. Your love lives on, Charlie.
