Jessica is a Family Support Partner with our High Fidelity Wraparound program, a U.S. Army veteran and a proud mother of six children. Jessica recently shared how her personal experiences at work and in the military have shaped her professionally and as a mother.

High Fidelity Wraparound (Wraparound) is a community-based program that supports children and families by working directly with them in their homes and communities. Our Wraparound team partners with the entire family to access their needs. From there, the team helps the family leverage their support system toward solutions. As a Family Support Partner, Jessica enjoys working closely with families to identify their strengths, set meaningful goals and then develop action plans to help the family achieve those goals.
For Jessica, this work fulfills a lifelong dream. “Since I was 8 years old, sitting in adoption group therapy, I dreamed of helping kids who were facing the same struggles as me,” she shares. “That dream came true when I joined Easterseals PORT Health’s High Fidelity Wraparound team in Greensboro, NC.”
Jessica leverages her extraordinary and relevant lived experiences to help families. “My oldest child was diagnosed with profound autism at 2 years old. Since then, raising six children with varying strengths, needs and abilities has shaped everything I do.” Jessica shared how the Wraparound program has also shifted her perspective. “This work has taught me to focus on strengths—mine, my children’s and those of the programs supporting us. Collaboration is key and progress looks different for everyone. It’s an honor to serve my community with such an amazing team.”
