Community-based program for children and families
High Fidelity Wraparound is a community-based program working with kids and families in their home and in the community. A team of three High Fidelity Wraparound team members work with the family to develop a “family plan” to address the needs and challenges of meeting their top priorities. Based on their needs and schedules, our team will meet with the family weekly or as often as needed.
Wraparound is an evidence-based model of support to help youth continue living at home, attending school or work and remaining stable. The process helps families learn how to meet their needs and use their support systems to handle their challenges and struggles. Wraparound does not “fix kids” or make crisis and challenges go away. Instead, wraparound helps families learn how to handle their challenges, overcome difficulties and achieve their vision for a stable family life.
- Wraparound is a voluntary service for youth and their families.
- Orientation is scheduled with the Wraparound team to share information about the model and how the family will work with the team.
- If family accepts Wraparound services, the team will help develop a “family plan.”
